There is no rock collecting allowed on Fidalgo Island. It is all private with the exception of city parks, and state parks, both of which do not allow collecting. There's nothing here you'd want to collect anyway. The island has excellent fresh and saltwater fishing in season, wonderful hiking, dozens of beaches, and good rock climbing. I'm going to post three fieldtrips for this island in Washington State, just to show what geologists are concerned with. And if you're in the area, you can go and look at the rocks, and you'll know exactly what they are.
