Citrine quartz from the himalayas and snakeskin agate
« on: November 08, 2015, 08:37:19 PM »

A shard of citrine quartz a traveling canadian hippy friend of mine gave me the last time I saw him a couple years ago. And a piece of snakeskin agate I received from a friend of mine who is from Oregon and it came from her grandfather so locale unknown. I figure maybe nevada. I left a natural skin on part of the dome of the agate as it had a sort of different botryoidal texture to it.

The snakeskin may of originated from a locality near Rome, Oregon. That was one of the spots that we went to while on the NFMS field trip back in September. Got lots n lots of snakeskin from there....its all over!

I've been getting alot of "server not available" error messages lately and cant log on. I thought maybe it was just this "tapatalk" app but couldnt even sign in on my computer the other day or the regular browser on my phone.
