basic steps for stabilization, regardless of fine details are:
1. dry the stone to less than 5% moisture. Long slow heat does the job usually.
2. immerse the stone into whatever resin you choose, even super glue.
3. pull vacuum till no more bubbles.
4. remove stone from resin and allow to drip awhile.
5. spray of coat with hardener.
6. heat heat heat. low and slow again.
7. remove from heat and tumble to remove excess exterior now hard resin.
8. cut and cab.
these are only the basic steps, but all professional stabilizers use them regardless of which polymer they use.
