Cab Potpourrie
« on: December 05, 2014, 03:03:10 PM »

Little ones - Starting at the top & going clockwise - Inca agate, Fordite, labradorite, amethyst sage, opal (looks better in person), dino bone (redo), chrysocolla (bleh), fluorite, coprolite.

CJ Strike

More of that Kaleidoscope "agate"

Lapis

Aventurine

Lepidolite with tourmaline

Amethyst sage

A better look at the opal

Picture jasper, don't know which one & it was some hard a** material to cab!

Dino bone

Redo on this dino bone because I didn't care for the shape & I needed to grind off a soft spot

Brazilian? agate

My favorites are the Kaleidoscope and the CJ Strike.

Nice cabs, Donnie!  I especially like the triangle shaped dino bone cab towards the bottom there.  That cab is killer!

Try photographing your opal on a black background.  You have a crystal opal there and the black will make the colors pop.
