Evening to everyone... :hello: great forum you have here.  First, Thanks for the introduction in the other room, to those that didn't see,  My name is Kyle and I live on the island south of Frank.  I'm moved more recently from CA and just trying to enjoy anything outdoors I can.  I've enjoyed spending a little bit of time to see some of the rocks and adventures, very impressive in a number of threads.  I look froward to meeting everyone, thanks again for having me.

Welcome to the forum!  :)
I'm down in sunny, and hot Queen Creek AZ!
However I've been in your area.  Used to live outside of Seattle briefly.

It's great to meet everyone and thank you very much for the warm welcome everyone.

To give the quick @ me...
I was born in the Phoenix area for you AZ natives... I moved from Ventura/Santa Barbara CA  area to the island /Seattle area about 2 years ago due to some medical fun but been enjoying a lot the island has to offer.  I look forward to continuing to see some of these amazing threads and finds.  Had a great day with Frank and his wife and daughter today on an Island Art Tour... Great time and always amazed how nice a lot of people are in the northwest since getting here.  @tothesummit, I did that red rock drive once before and walked some but never much exploring in Utah.  Pretty incredible that drive though.

We had the biggest strongest summer wind storm in over a quarter century while we were on the studio tour. Lots of trees down and almost the whole island was without power by time we finished the tour. As we brought R.W. ( Rolling Washington ) back home we were greeted with the Washington purr, the sound of a generator chugging along. Imn winter it is not unusual to hear a generator purring at every house after storms .We visited potters studios , a ceramic tile maker , a weaver , a papermaker, a very large glass blowing studio, a number of sculptors of various kinds and a hardware store as well as a gas station so that we could return R.W. home with precious gasoline for the generator. We returned home to find the power on but our orchard and garden devastated by the wind. The corn patch blew over , the pumpkin leaves shredded and the apples and Asian pears took a huge hit as they were stripped from the trees by the wind. Lots of unripe fruit for the geese. A busy , exciting fun day.

These two friends of mine have yet to meet. Both are very busy people but it will happen eventually. Rolling washington is actually a very accomplished professional studio photographer and a fun person to be with , another person I am lucky to call a friend.
