Rock Hunting In Alabama

Hi all Mary and I have a question. Does anyone know of some good rock/mineral hunting places in Alabama.  We live in Pensacola, FL and go to places in Georgia when we get a chance.  I've heard of Paint Rock and the Paint Rock River. Has anyone been there?
