Imperial Rhodonite and Marlborough Chrysoprase
« on: May 25, 2016, 02:06:43 PM »

Loving the Aussie stuff  :glasses9:  This Imperial Rhodonite is from Mick and Margie.  It is the translucent cardinal red/dark pink and is from the closed Danglemah mine 1990's.  The Chrysoprase is some amazingly gemmy stuff and this piece had only one teeny tiny white dot inclusion.

That's nice.   :hello2:  I love Rhodonite. I just can't find any good stuff. All I can find is black with some pink.

Great polish and shape on both Krystee, hard to pick a winner, but I come from rhodonite country and its hard to beat that imperial, the choice red is more rare than good chrysoprase, I have never seen any rough for sale at any of our gem shows but chrysoprase is always there.
Cheers Michael & Margie
