Sierra Madre Agate set

At the Contin-tail show in Buena Vista Colorado this last weekend, we happened upon these stones and my wife had to get the set.  They are Sierra Madre Agate from Mexico and wire wrapped in 14 Pink gold Fill wire.

Beautiful matched pair and lovely wire Work! Grats, I am such a beginner at wire wrapping, I love seeing well done pieces as inspiration to get better.

Thank you all for the kind comments.  Irockhound, If you are ever in the Denver metro area, let us know.  My wife teaches wire wrapping and could show you a number of things to make wrapping easier and faster.

We live in Westminster to the north and my wife teaches classes thru the City of Westminster and a rock shop called Desert Gems in Lakewood.
