Mexican Fire agate rough.
« on: December 03, 2016, 12:45:14 PM »

So, i just took a handful of my mexican fire agate rough down to the rock store to be graded.
B++ on most and a couple A, A+ pieces.

Most of it he said would sell in his store (in the rough windowed form) for $3.50 a gram.  :LOLOL:

So, Travis (which helps me without question) all the time on rough stones was looking through them, i let him pick out a bunch that he would want to try working on.
He has a foredom and hasnt used it on any rocks at all, only silver stuff.

So, he has this nice little pile and i said Merry Christmas to him.
He didnt understand me and said it back lol!

I said, dont understand. while he was packaging the stones and labeling them for mexican and round Mtn fire agate.
I said Travis. I am ruining you. Merry Christmas these are your stones now. please document your work and report back to me when you finish a couple....
Hes like, dangit!
Now i have to buy nova points lol! :LOLOL: :LOLOL: :LOLOL:

He is studying geology in college, more in tune with fossils, but one day he told me he would love to have quality rough fire agate to learn with.
I was blessed with alot, so i blessed him with a few select pieces that talked to him.
Cant wait to see his vision in the stones come to reality some day.
