Lortone 12 or 14 imch saw.
« on: March 07, 2017, 08:19:30 AM »

Space is at a premium and I'm thinking of downgrading saws.  I'm looking at lortone saws but have a question.  A few decades ago a friend advised buying the smaller 12 inch saw and converting it to a 14 inch saw.  Is this possible?  Is it safe? :coffee2:  I rarely slab bigger rocks anymore.

Friend of ours has one. He just made riser blocks to lift it enough to give the extra inch of clearance in the pan.
