Mexica Dollar Ring

This coin is very hard metal, Nickle/ copper alloy. Lots of annealing.

Cool, did you use a hammer and mandrel? Or folding dies.  Silver coins are much easier to do than the copper  nickel

yes, drill hole, hammer and mandrel, then in a dapping block and compressed in hydraulic press half way and turned over and compressed the other side to form the domed profile.

Hi olgguy nice job on the ring watched some clips on youtube on making them plenty of elbow grease needed.
