Motor Upgrade
« on: June 13, 2018, 05:53:52 AM »

Finally tired of burning out 1/3HP motors (sourced used) probably near 7 of them in the last 4 years.  So I grabbed some wood and set it back a couple inches to avoid the autofeed and hung a new 1HP on it.  Hopefully this will solve the motor problems, some of them were from a bad bearing causing some pinch and excessive load on it.  I replaced both bearings and have new split nut pieces on the way.  It should run like a champ soon.
