New gal here, not new to rocks and gemstones though. Dabbled a little in gemstones about 15 years ago and that was that! Still have some equipment, gemstones, fossils and other stuff. I run a small quilt shop in my home studio and loving it! Recently got into recycled arts, mainly bottle wind chimes. So it brings me back to looking at rocks again and using them in my creations.

Upon the recycled bottles, I purchased a Loritone rock tumbler for my glass, then my mind started wondering off to search for cool looking rocks, etc. I'd say I'm pretty creative and love this type of stuff. Looking forward to meeting new friends and learning from the more experienced!

Welcome.  You found the right forums for great people who have lots of knowledge and love to share.  I'm in Vegas and was just in BC for work yesterday.  I've always loved it out there.  Wife and I go out for Art in the Park each year.
