cost to get slabs cut

Need help in pricing on how much to charge for slabbing some stones.  Have chopped a large stone into chunks for a friend in the past, and was always given some of the stone. Now I've been asked to slab a bunch of stones from someone,  wondering if there is a going rate for slabbing?

When I have asked shops about cutting slabs from my rough, the going rates seem to be between .25-.50 cents per square inch. Hope that helps a little
