Great sphere, I bought a bunch of the material when they were selling it for 1 to 2 per lb.  I still haven't even cut a slab of it yet.  Been slacking on the larger saws, but still knocking the bouquets out on the 10".  At least makes me feel a little productive.  I bow to your motivation for churning out the work Jhon!

Nice work on that sphere, Jhon, and nice material as well!  I have tried two inferior pieces and the results were less than satisfactory, with porous areas, fractures and large pits. A nice mushroom rhyolite is a treat to behold.
