Looking for Poly Products Saw Arbor

Reconditioning my Grandfather's 20" Slab Saw by Mohave Industries, replacing the hardware with stainless steel along with new drive and feed motors, as well as a new 301 MK Blade. The Poly Products Arbor is pretty beat up and has too much run-out or wobble, therefore I searching for a replacement.

I would appreciate any leads on a potential supply source or ideas on a suitable replacement design. The Arbor is the C6 - 3/4" diameter 12.5" long arbor

Chances of the arbor being worn out are very slim.  It is far more likely to be the bearings.  Remove the arbor shaft.  You will need to press it out.  If you cannot do that, put a piece of wood over the end and knock it out with a hammer.  If the housing is worn, the bearings will now fall out on their own.  If they don't then you will find the inner race is able to move laterally in the in the outer race.  That is a worn out bearing.  Replace the bearings with same number.  The new ones should be pressed in place but again, they can be pushed with a hammer and block of wood.  Then press the arbor shaft in.  This operation really should be done with a press, not a hammer.

I had the exact same arbor and when trying to replace the bearings, my dad sledge hammered the arbor out causing a slight wobble.  It was hell trying to replace it for my saw because most arbors on the market didn't work. With that said, I just saw one on eBay in the last week, try looking under lapidary arbors. It took me like 6 months to find a suitable one that fit my saw but one of the ones from Lortone fit with a slight modification for the bolt hole locations.  Keep in mind, you could always install 2 pillow block bushings if your arbor is still fine.  You don't need that type of case.  The replacement pillow block bearings would be very easy.  Just need to get the ones that fit the shaft diameter and that have the black rings on the outside (sealed with rubber to keep the grit out).  Alternatively could just get your arbor pressed out and replace the 2 bushing with the same ones.  This would be easy as well if you can get someone to hydraulically press them out.  Maybe if yours is loose you can remove it but don't hammer it like we did!

Thanks, I did get the arbor shaft out after removing the race on one end of one bearing and tapping out the shaft and other bearing from the housing, wasn't too hard once I got one bearing out which was destroyed. So decided to do the pillow bearing set-up and ordered 2 pillow block bearings (7/8" bore to fit inner shaft dia) along with 2 new 3" blade flange washers from HP. Just will need to modify the mounting holes and hole thru box, hope to get it going again next week, will post pics. If the set-up works good, I may  invest in stainless steel pillow block bearings.
I will still keep my eye out for a similar poly products harbor.

It would be far cheaper to replace the bearings in the arbor.  Pretty easy to do.
