Lattice Agate - revisited
« on: June 13, 2020, 10:41:15 AM »

After looking up lattice agate on the internet, it is clear that the barite pseudomorphs are a characteristic feature of the material (thanks to Steve for the hint) so I dove back into the rockpile to fund some appropriate rough.  Results turned out nice at about 3.5-inch finished diameter.

Turned out great.  Must be nice and heavy too.

Such interesting patterns. Nice job working with a stone with all that open space.

I like it. I like vugs, gaps and narled spheres.

Interesting looking stone. It really makes you think about structure.
