Paul Bunyan agate
« on: October 20, 2020, 12:55:05 PM »

Finished up at a nice 5.5 inches diameter.  Paul Bunyan agate from some old stock I hounded from a rock pile of a retiring rockhound.  It was a pleasure to work with.

Superb stuff! I wish the Indian and Madagascan jasper-agates were this good in this size.

Nice patterns and colors.  Curious is Paul Bunyan agate from Utah or somewhere else?

Wow!  I haven't seen Paul Bunyan around in years.  Great score and beautiful spheres.   :icon_sunny:

Sorry, have not been very attentive of late.  Paul Bunyan agate comes from Mojave Desert area in California.  Not too far from the Cady Mountains.
