A gal of many creative skills
« on: May 17, 2022, 10:22:26 AM »

Hey all! Yep, I got my hands in a lot of cookie jars....Anything to do with quilting, from thread painting/complete quilt construction, trying new gluten free recipes/cooking. Anything to do with gemstones/lapidary, repurposing jewelry, gardeniing,
candle making, all my animals, (my chickens, kitty and doggie), old liquor bottles/wind-chimes and so much more stuff. Hopefully soon I can bring my kiln down.

Love your neighbor as you love yourself,
Anita

Lol, you sound like my daughter!  13 chickens started and ran a successful Gluten free bakery in Ohio with her wife, does Crosspoint as a habit, started quilting now with the inheritance of her Grandmothers MASSIVE stockpile of threads and material.  Drove across country with 10 chickens and 3 cats in the audi - Hilarious.  She loves her chickens and the more exotic the better.  Now she's thinking of going into the chicken (chick) business.  Sounds like you both were hatched from the same egg.

LOL, yeah....He was the smallest and the cutest of all my chickens. Later it turned out that he wanted to crow at an early age, sadly I had to get rid of him and a couple others, cuz we're in the city limits.
I had 11 chickens, Mrs Kravits, Blackie, Marina, Stickers, Fuzz Butt, Turkey, Rhoda, oh gosh, I can't remember all the names now  :dontknow:
Boy howdy, that would be nerve racking with that many chickens and kittys on a road trip. My Truffles, (see my avater) he,loves to ride up to the cabin in Utah. Been taking him for a number of years now. This was Sarges,(Akita mix dog) first time ever to ride with us. He was pretty nervous but calmed down on the way back home. Only problem we had with him, he's a rotund doggie with short legs and very heavy,( I might add), we have to hoist him into the back part of the car.

I only have 3 chickens now, maybe soon I'll get some more, after we figure out where we are gonna plant ourselves, cabin in Utah or our land near wells.

When my daughter was driving cross country with the car full of chicken and dodging ag checks she missed and had to go through one, Of course a couple hours before one of her hens decided it was a boy and started crowing. Lol  She named her chickens Marsala, Nugget, Szechwan, Dumpling, pot pie, Teriyaki, Parmesan, Sesame etc ....

Too dawg gone funny! Yeah Truffles, (aka) Truffy doesn't know he's a boy. When we had bunnys, he took a liking to one of the males. When the action was turned around,....Well he didn't like that!  :LOLOL:
