"Old-fashioned" High Dome Agate Cab in Hat Pin.
« on: July 21, 2022, 09:00:09 AM »

This lovely stone trapped in a hat pin is an inherited heirloom from my husband's grandmother. He said he believed she received it in the 40's. The stone is a good 10 mm tall and has light brown tube cores and fortifications with a mild parallaxy light play thing going on.

I know the Victorians liked Montana moss and would use it in even lower grade plated jewelry and accessories.

Maybe that's what this is. Maybe not.
What do you think?

Yeah, it could be. You know Montanas come in all sorts of flavors.

They do, indeed! Sure wish they did it a lot closer to me!
