new to the forum

I am new my self thanks for the invite i collect rough gems from over seas mines mostly from south america and diy my own lap equipment because i am on fix income hope soon i get enough rough to start making cabs or make special things to wear at some point love all type hail from the midwest

Welcome to this community! There are quite a few registered members, but few of us are active regularly.

Just under your user name in the top-left area of the screen there is the "show unread posts since last visit" link - I find it very useful.

Also, I highly recommend using the search function from the home page, and also browsing and searching the archive of the previous lapidary forum, which is available at https://lapidaryforum.net/group/index.php?board=62.0

 Mehoose I like a lot of diffrent types but most of my fav is tiger eyes but some time i get mookaite jasper some i ethiopian rough  mexican lace red tiger eye get some brazilian Agate fluorite which i plan on getting and casting in resin and my stuff u can wear my other fav is sodalite my next buy i might get some botswana agate

but my fav two are listed cant get out and rock hound do to not being able to drive and walk very far I wish i could of tho  :sad: or have some friends to go with on trips out west

Lot's of nice folks here who can give you a hand.
Be sure to show them your pottery wheel turned into a flat lap!  They will really like that!
