Hi Everybody,

Had a friend from another forum tell me about this place, so here I am! I'm a newbie rockhound (well, sort of newbie... less than a dozen trips so far), but quite a big importer of various goodies. I'm also somewhat new to cabbing (less than 50 of various shapes and sizes... more than my share of belt buckles though) and am interested in learning to facet.

Anyway, glad to meet everybody, and I'll chat with you soon.

Hi Jeff, I am not too new to the rock forums but I have not posted much. I am just starting to post again. Probably one of the sub forums that you mentioned is for flint knapping. If I get a point done today perhaps I will remedy that.

Welcome and hopefully we can get to know one another.

Welcome.  Good to see you here.  This forum is a little slower than some others, but its also a lot newer.  I'm sure as membership grows the activity will continue to grow with it.  But everyone here is good folks, most of whom I have known from other forums.
