Hi all, I am Nick from southeastern Idaho (AKA Hell if you have ever spent any time here). I am an avid rockhound in a wheelchair,  so pull up a chair and grab a beer n watch me attempt to go uphill in my manual chair because it is a hilarious watch I am sure!!!
Recognize a bunch of names on here from Facebook, so already feel like I know a mess of yas.

Ive been through your area, it IS hell in the winter, thats where my semi truck was nearly blown onto its side in a snow storm heading to Utah empty to pick up a load of subway meat.

Welcome. I am looking forward to your stories on how you get out. I have been on crutches for two years due to a spinal cord injury that has stabilized and one day I again may be mobile without aid. A real challenge but it keeps life interesting. how far south in Idaho are you?

We moved out of Pocatello nearly two year ago.  There's some fantastic country down there.

I was born in Boise, but that was in the 60s and I got out of Idaho before I was a year old.  Don't know how you guys do it up there in the winters.  I'm a desert rat at heart.  I'll take my hellish summers over your hellish winters any day of the week.

Actually, Boise in the winter isnt that bad, its a dry cold not WET like here in Washington on the west side of the bump.
I would move to Boise in a heartbeat if i found a permanent trucking job with year round work and benefits that match what i am making here in Seattle.

I hear you there about the winters, add a wheelchair to the mix and it gets very interesting.
