Yes, I am the biggest slacker poster ever!
« on: November 18, 2014, 10:26:33 PM »

I'm sorry  :dontknow:  I have not been a great online person lately unless I can upload from my phone.  I'm still cabbing though and hopefully you guys will enjoy some of my recent works.  I don't think any of these are repeats but if so, I'm sorry!!!!!

Amanda.......  You know how much of a slacker I am..... I have an Apatite for you that is HUGE and symmetrical.  It's still sitting on my bench though  :icon_scratch: :icon_scratch: :icon_scratch:  I'm on it though!!!

Hemimorphite Boytroidal natural faced cab with epoxied back to make it flat.  Only the sides are polished.

Regency Rose Plume

Morrisonite

Lace

Polish Flint

Red brecciated jasper with hematite

Ocean Jasper

Yellow Leopardskin Jasper

Poppy Jasper..... This came from a friend in WA.  I think it is local but not 100% sure.

Pietersite, Namibia Africa

LOL!
No worries Krystee!

Y'all think your slacking?  I have a huge contest piece to do that has an end of January deadline and I haven't even started it yet!

Krystee - What do you want from quartzite?  Anything you're looking for?  We can do a trade when you finally finish the cab.   :occasion14:
I'm sure I'll find a few somethings of interest for you.

I'm also going to go to Tucson this year even if I have to starve myself for two days ahead of time so I don't get sick the day we plan on going.  Last year I got so sick the day we wanted to go I ended up staying home.  So if you want me to look there, I can do that too.

Sounds good Amanda!!!  I do have some things on my wish list  :blob1:

I have your Apatite slab picked out.  Should I do a giant tear drop like the Lace?  It probably wont be as big but I can try cutting one that size.  It will have to be very low dome to keep the slab as thick as possible since it is full of mostly stable cleavage.

Helene,

I found my box of Daniel's Indonesian Gem Silica and your Mississippi Peanut stuff and Zebra stone!!!  I can't believe I haven't cut the gem silica yet.  That's going on my bench too!!!!!!!!!

Giant teardrop, giant oval, giant shield, giant round, giant half moon...
It all works, pick one.   :headbang:
I'm not picky.
