 A bead / pendant maker by the name of David Van Horst cut and sold hundreds of pendants from the concrete of the King Dome after it was demolished.

There are actually some jewelry artists out there using colored concrete in their creations.  Last year sometime there was an article in one of the jewelry magazines about it.  I think it was Art Jewelry that carried the article.

People took pieces of the Berlin wall.  Was that concrete?

I actually have cut concrete before, but it was because it had a lot of pebbles mixed into it and I wanted to see if it would be cool to make a cab from.  I only cut that one once...  :D

I've probably cut a couple miles of concrete with a saw like this, and probably just as much asphalt.

Never thought to finish a stone from the chunks though.  Hmmm, maybe I need to start keeping my eyes open for interesting pieces!
